Elena-Madalina received the bachelor, master and PhD degree in electronic engineering and telecommunications from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, Romania, in 2012, 2014 and respectively 2019.

She is presently working like Service Performance Manager in Orange Romania.

With more than 12 years experience in the telecommunications industry she is expert in transmission architectures and telecommunication, has strong knowledge of RAN architecture, features and standards of the GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/LTE and 5G mobile networks and overall networks architecture and services. She has the ability to work and get very good results in an international and transversal environment and she has excellent organizing and project management skills.

Since 2016, Madalina is Development and Innovation Team Collaborator – Senior Researcher in European H2020 projects, with presence in many H2020 projects with key roles starting from the project proposal writing part, participation in conferences and project meetings in the consortium, contributions in various work packages, coordinator and main editor for several deliverables and author for many technical articles.

Her research interests are in the fields of 5G and beyond 5G networks, OpenRAN, IoT and Artificial Intelligence.
